Juan Carlos Barrientos November 23, 1971 - August 24, 2015 Juan Carlos Barrientos, age 43, met his heavenly father on August 24, 2015. He was born on November 23, 1971 in Laredo, Texas. Before settling in San Antonio, Juan lived in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a hard-working employee of Hall Irrigation System/Andy's Sprinklers; also, a proud member of Igelsia de Cristo. Family and friends will remember him as an outgoing person who enjoyed the company of family and friends. Juan was an enthusiastic traveler. Juan was dedicated and loved both his family and friends. Juan is survived by his parents Virginia and Jesus Barrientos and his grandmother, Margarita Garcia Martinez; brothers and sisters Israel Barrientos, Felipe Jesus Barrientos, Alejandro Barrientos, Esmeralda Baltierrez, Ambrosio (Margarita) Barrientos and Olga Lydia Barrientos. He is also survived by wonderful nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Luis Garcia. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27th. Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
