Joseph David Smith went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the age of 29 years. He was a member of the James Madison High School R.O.T.C. and enjoyed playing hockey. Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Smith. He is survived by his wife, Juliana D. Castillon-Smith; parents, David and Carol Smith; grandparents, Donald and Vera Smith; brothers, Justin Smith and wife Margaret and Adam Smith and wife Dara; sisters, Elizabeth Crawford and husband Peter; father and mother-in-law, Juventino and Cassandra Castillon; also several nieces and nephews. Services for Joseph will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 9626 Adam's Hill, on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, by private invitation, will be held at Mission Burial Park South.
