Joseph Ralph Delgado went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the age of 48 years. He loved cooking and working on the computer and cars. Joe enjoyed collecting comic books. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Miguel and Balvina Candelaria Delgado and Lawrence and Martha Baxter. Joe is survived by his parents, Manuel and Eleanor Delgado; sisters, Candy Moreno and husband Ray, Maryann Peterson and husband Leon, Rose Ann Ochoa, Elizabeth Pons, and Balvina Suarez and husband Gabriel; brothers, Miguel Delgado and wife Jennifer, Wally Delgado and fiance Petra Diaz, and Gregorio Delgado and wife Anna; also numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Monday, October 20th from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21st for mass to be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in El Carmen Catholic Cemetery.
