Jose "Chema" M. Pena, born on December 13, 1932 in Agujita, Coah., Mexico lost his battle to Alzheimer's on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the age of 80 years. He passed away at his home surrounded by his family. Chema was a loving, husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his lovely wife of 57 years, Maria "Nena" C. Pena; children, Hugo, Mike, Rita, and Carlos; grandchildren, Huey, Karla, Linda Lou, and Alec; and great grandson, Mason. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home, on Thursday, September 19th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 20th for graveside services to be held at San Jose Burial Park at 11:00 a.m.
