Jose Leija, born to Benito Leija and Josefina Morales on July 26, 1948 entered into Heaven on August 11, 2016 at the age of 68. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 grandson. He was survived by his spouse Margaret Leija; daughters Ann Marie Valdez, Teresa Flores and Melinda Villarreal; sons Joe Leija, Jr., Benito Leija and Luis Leija;  18 grand children, 12 great-grand children, 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Funeral Services will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 1pm, with a visitation to begin one hour prior at 12pm. Services will conclude the same day in the chapel.
