Jose P. Galvan went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the age of 93 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Ramona; daughters, Martha Galvan, Rosario Raygoza and husband Jose, and Mary Lou Ordaz and husband Richard; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home on Thursday, December 19th at 9:30 a.m. for mass to be celebrated at St. Clare's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in San Fernando II Cemetery.
