Jose Angel Elizondo Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the age of 63 years. He was preceded in death by Son Jose Angel Elizondo Jr; Parents Robert and Inez Elizondo; Grandchildren Joe Angel Longoria, Giovanni Elizondo; Father and Mother in laws Enrique and Aurora Salazar Sr. Jose loved to go fishing, race cars and listening to music. He was big joker and loved making everyone laugh. Jose is survived by his Wife Juanita "Janie" Elizondo; Children Aurora Maria, Mark Anthony Elizondo (Nelisa), Jessica Ann Rodriguez (Joseph), Rosalinda Longoria (Mike Sr.); Brother Albert Elizondo; Sisters Cecilia Ramirez (Joe), Carmen Elizondo, Angelina Loera; Twenty-seven grandchildren; Seventeen Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a recitation of the holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
