Jose Valentine Cerda, 68, passed away on March 2, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.

Jose is preceded in death by his Parents Valentine and Socorro Cerda and Grandson Nicholas Gonzales.

Jose is survived by his Children Anna Torres (Arturo Peralta), Jose Cerda, Jr., Veronica Cerda and Monica Cerda (Felix Quintero); Siblings Robert Cerda (Sulema), Chris Martinez, Angelita Diaz (George), Richard Cerda (Miriam), Susie Ramirez (Reynaldo) and Gerardo Cerda (Ruth), 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great-grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores Street, San Antonio, Texas 78214. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude after the Prayer Service. Arrangements are entrusted to Southside Funeral Home.
