Jose Aurelio Castillo went to be with the Lord March 29, 2023 at the age of 73 years. He was born on March 10, 1950 to Joaquin and Emilia Castillo. He is preceded in death by son Jose Castillo Jr.; parents Emma and Joaquin Castillo; brothers Jimmy, Emilio and Joaquin. He loved being a magician. Served 4yrs in the Army during the Vietnam War.  Jose is survived by his wife Corina R. Castillo; children Carmen Rivera (Daniel) Jake Castillo (Veronica); grandchildren twelve; great-grandchildren twelve; sister Linda; brothers Jesse and Rudy. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart Southside Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. on Tueaday, April 11, 2023 for a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Templo Bethel Church 3024 Colima St. San Antonio, Texas 78207. with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery .
