Jose Raymundo Castaneda entered into Rest on September 13, 2020 at the age of 56 . Jose was born to Jesus and Anita Tijerina Castaneda on January 19, 1964. Jose loved to go boating and fishing. Spending time with his family, he was a very giving person to all. He is preceded in death by his father Jesus Castaneda, grandmother Virginia Galvan, grandfather Vicente Tijerina. Jose is survived by his son Jose F. Castaneda; daughters Priscilla C. Robles, Maria Isabel Jimenez; grandchildren Sebastian and Avery; mother Anita Castaneda; brother Jesus Castaneda, Jr., (TyeRae); sisters Letisia C. Nieto (Martin), Maricela Castaneda; fiance Leticia Pacheco; nieces Alysa Delgado, Alexandria Castaneda as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores St. San Antonio, Texas 78214. Jose's family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, September 18 for mass to be celebrated at St. Philip Catholic Church 274 Avenue H Poteet, Texas at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Madre Dolorosa Cemetery.
