Johnny F. Ochoa Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the age of 76 years.  He was born in Big Springs, Texas on December 9, 1943 to Pedro and Lucy Ochoa.  Johnny enjoyed fishing, bird watching and family gatherings.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carmen Ochoa; children, Naomi Czaja and husband Paul, Johnny Ochoa Jr., Rosemary Noblin and husband George; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Saragoza Ochoa; sisters, Connie Bridges, Janie Calhoun, Maria Rodriguez, and Gracie Baeza; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, August 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral on Friday, August 14th at 9:30 a.m., for Mass to be celebrated at St Lawrence Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
