John M. Martinez entered into Heaven on April 12, 2018 at the age of 30. He was born February 5, 1988. John is survived by his children; Jaelynn Martinez and Miracle Encinia; the love of his life, Samantha Encinia; Parents Fermin and Clara Martinez; Brother, Robert Martinez; Sister, Tillie Martinez; Nephews, Elijah Martinez, Aaden Martinez, Jason Castellano"Lizard"; Niece, Bernadette Martinez; Grandmother, Domitila Rule and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by brother, Fermin Martinez Jr."Jason". John enjoyed listening to rap music, rapping and drawing.

John's family will be receiving visitors at Southside Funeral Home (6301 S. Flores, San Antonio, TX 78214) on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:00 p.m.  Services will conclude in the chapel.
