Jesse Bosquez Solis, born in Jourdanton,Tx on December 25, 1942 to Carlos and Modesta Soliz, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2015 at the age of 72. He is survived by his five children, Mary Ann Garcia and husband David, Virginia Solis and husband Raul Medina, Jesse Solis, Jr. and wife Patricia, Lisa Solis and husband Oscar Guerra, and Ralph Solis; mother of his children, Maria Solis; brother, Alcario Soliz and wife Anna; three sisters, Catherine Martinez, Amelia Soriano, and Alice Reyes; half-sister, Celia Rivas and husband Santiago; sister in law Linda Soliz; nineteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Jesse is preceded in death by his grandson, Larry Gonzalez, Jr.; parents, Carlos and Modesta Soliz; and brother, Raul B. Soliz. He enjoyed playing pool and listening to music, especially the "oldies but goodies". Visitation for Mr. Solis will begin on Monday, December 21st at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Southside Funeral Home. Funeral services will depart the funeral home on Tuesday, December 22nd at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Leonard's Catholic Church followed by interment at First Memorial Park.
