Jesse Quintana Hernandez's Obituary
Jesse Hernandez was called to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 03, 2016 at the age of 84. Jesse was born to Charlie and Maria Hernandez on April 30, 1931 in Von Ormy, Texas. He loved his family and enjoyed trips to Kickapoo and Vegas casinos. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sisters Clara Guzman, Velia Reyes, Maria L. Rivera and his granddaughter Jessica Marie Hernandez. Jesse is survived by his children Charlie Hernandez & wife Michelle, Irma Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez and Nora Hamm & husband Stuart, his brother Lawrence, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Hernandez family would like to express their gratitude to Holy Savior Hospice nurses Dora Gutierrez and Blake Smith for their service to their family while caring for Jesse. His family will be receiving visitors at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 4pm-9pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm. On Thursday, April 7 family and friends will gather at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Von Ormy, TX for a Funeral Mass at 10am. Interment will follow at Ruiz Herrera Cemetery.
