Jerry V. Martinez entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the age of 65 years. He loved gardening and music. Jerry touched everyone's heart that he met, making friends every where he went. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Herlinda Martinez and brother, George Martinez. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Gloria Martinez; children, James Martinez and Rebecca Martinez (Chris Sr.); grandchildren, James Jr., Elena, Edward, Emma, Chris Jr. and Christian; brothers, Larry and Pete Martinez; sister, Angie Lopez; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 25 ^th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude following the visitation.
