Janie Palomo went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2015 at the age of 70 years.  She enjoyed Tejano Music, the Golden Oldies and loved to dance.  Janie was preceded in death by her parents Nacho and Mary J, Riojas.  She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Adam; children, Adam Palomo Jr.,Gil Palomo and wife Terry, Priscilla Palomo and husband Jose Esquivel; sisters, Mary Alice Cavender and husband John, Hope McKenzie and husband Kirk; brothers, Jesse and Joe Arizmendez; grandsons, Vincent John and Nicholas Martin Palomo.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at Cornerstone Church on Thursday, January 7th at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
