James W. Smith went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the age of 62 years.  James is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ann Smith; children, Sharon Smith and Moses Reyes; grandchildren, Kino Ybarra, Anna Ybarra, Krysten Reyes, A.J. Reyes, Izaiah Hopkins, Cheyenne Reyes and Aliyah Reyes; great grandchildren; Alejandro Ramirez, Julian Ozuna and Vincent Reyes; brothers, Fred, Dennis and Bobby Smith; sisters, Vivian Cortez, Sylvia Handam and Linda Hyde. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
