James Edward Hauschildt passed into the sweet hereafter on Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was known for his love of classic cars and automobile racing. He was a great fishing buddy and enjoyed spending time casting lines with his dear friends and having a smoke. He really knew how to enjoy life and take pleasure in the simple things. He will be remembered fondly by his darling sister Barbara Gable as well as his sisters-in-law Cathleen Hauschildt, Debra Hauschildt, and Donna Hauschildt. He was a loving and kind uncle to numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews. James will be missed terribly by his best friend in the world, Eric Ortiz, who was like a brother to him.

James was preceded in death by his beloved parents Herman F. Hauschildt and Cecilia Johnson. He will be reunited as well with his brothers Herman Louis Hauschildt, Joseph David Hauschildt, and Robert Warren Hauschildt in junction with his brother-in-law Jeff Gable. Truly he was a joy to those who knew him.
