Jacinto P. Salazar, born September 11, 1947 to Guadalupe and Catalina Salazar, went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2016 at the age of 68. Jacinto was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired firefighter for the San Antonio Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Martha Rangel; children, Jacinto Jay "J.J." Salazar, David Salazar, Janette Rosas, Santos Yvanez, Diana Yvanez, Raymond Rangel, and John Rangel; brothers, Guadalupe Salazar, Juan Salazar, George Salazar and wife Sandy, Roberto Salazar, Raul Salazar, and Arturo Salazar; several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation for Jacinto will begin on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday, March 4th at 3:00 p.m.
