Ines R. Resendis, born on January 4, 1920 to Francisco and Isidra Rodriguez, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2016 at the age of 96. Ines loved to sing.She also enjoyed reading and sewing and she prayed everyday. Ines is survived by her husband of 66 years, Luis E. Resendis; children, Elias Jimenes and wife Margarita, Olivia Resendis, Teresa Resendis, Virginia Contreras and husband Johnny, and Francisco Resendis and wife Carolina; grandchildren, Elias, Jr., Sylvia, Carolina, Stevan, Priscilla, Elizabeth, and Christian; great-grandchildren, Sean, Amy, Sophia, Jason, Jr., Elianna, and Markanthony. A visitation for Ines will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Southside Funeral Home. Funeral services will depart the funeral home on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Mission San Jose, followed by interment at San Jose Burial Park.
