Herminia C. Machado November 18, 1931-August 24, 2015 Herminia C. Machado went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the age of 83 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and playing cards and bingo. Herminia was a member of Bible Study Group at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her sons, Anselmo "Roland" and Vernaldo "Jaime" Machado; brother, David T. Casas; aunt, Juanita T. Casas. Herminia is survived by her daughter, Sandra Machado; sisters, Josie Villarreal and Aurelia Almandarez; five grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, August 27th from 3:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, August 28th for mass to be celebrated at St. Joseph's South San Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
