Hector G. Soliz went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the age of 52 years. He was a very outgoing and loveable person who enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. Hector was preceded in death by his son, Hector Jr.; parents, Etevan and Margarita Soliz; and brothers, Steve and Ray. He is survived by his daughters, Amy and Erica; grandchildren, Sylvia, Raven, Ramiro Jr., Precious, Talisa, Ariel, Heather, and Aleeyah; sisters, Olga, Rosa, and Margie; brothers, Juan, Roger, and Andrew; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 2nd from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Somerset on Thursday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m.
