Hazel Hodges went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the age of 86 years. She was a member of the Harlandale United Methodist Church and the Sons of Hermann Brunhilde Lodge No.7, where she enjoyed bowling. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan D. Hodges in 1999 and by one brother and one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth "Beth" Smith and Virginia "Ginger" Hodges and husband Allen Cook; grandsons, Ron Little and wife Beverly, Jordan Goldsmith and fiancé Christina; great granddaughters, Scarlet Rose and Lily Noelle; brother, Elsworth Jones and wife Joann; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, March 26th from 4:00 pm. To 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27th at San Fernando III Cemetery.
