Guadalupe Ochoa Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the age of 58 years.  He was born in Brownfield, Texas on October 8, 1960 to Guadalupe and Mary Ochoa.  Guadalupe enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially football. He was a good artist, who loved painting, drawing, and playing his guitar. Guadalupe was very fond of horses. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Mary Ochoa and nephews, Richard Uriegas Jr.  Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Teresa Ochoa; goddaughter, Deborah "Baby Girl" Ortega; grandson, Anthony "Champ" Ortega; Brothers, David Ochoa, Robert Ochoa (Laura), Jerry Ochoa, Paul Ochoa (Blanca); sisters, MaryAnn Rodriguez (Tim), Margie Ochoa, Yolanda Ramirez (Ralph), Debra Herrera, Linda Tapia (Tony); also numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and a host of friends.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Friday, August 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 10th for Mass to be celebrated at El Carmen Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in El Carmen Catholic Cemetery.
