With heavy hearts, we announce that Gloria E. Morales went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the age of 94. Gloria was born on June 4, 1930, to her parents Ramon and Lazara Garza in McAllen, Texas.

She is survived by her three children: Thomas Morales (Martina), Roberto Morales (Patti), and Juan David Morales; her grandchildren: Robert Scott Morales (Abby), Juan David Morales, Thomas Wolff Morales, Michael Peter Sheffield (Natalie), and Adam Blake Sheffield (Brandy); her great-grandchildren, including: Joseph Morales, Connor Morales, and Jamie Morales; her sisters: Nelia Vargas, Lazara Moreno, and Rebecca Gallegos; and numerous other great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Morales Jr.; her grandson, Joseph Morales; her siblings; and a sister-in-law.

A visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, we will depart from Southside Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. for interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
