Gloria M. Martinez, went into eternal rest on December 24, 2021. Gloria was born on March 14, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas. She is now reunited and rejoicing with her parents, Juan and Florinda Mireles. Husband, Jerry Martinez. Brother, John Mireles. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Martinez (Chris). Son, James Martinez (Amanda). 6 Grandchildren. Sisters, Mary Helen Mireles, Esther Bustos. Brothers, Jose Carlos Mireles (Mari). Ray Mireles (Elanor), John Mireles. Her fur baby Blackie. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Gloria proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. She enjoyed word puzzles, sewing, and watching movies. Gloria will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Monday January 3, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home from 5pm-8pm with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7pm. All services will conclude at 8pm. Her children will honor her wishes to be cremated.
