Gilbert Alfonso Tarin entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the age of 92 years. He loved playing golf, hunting, fishing and water skiing. Gilbert is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl Tarin; children, Jesse Tarin (Martha), Jason Longoria, Christopher Klassen, Darlene Ortega (Augustin) and Greg Cruz; grandchildren, Jesse Jr., Oscar, Augie and Maddie; great grandchildren, Zachary and Ethan; brother, Ignacio Garcia; sister, Mary Urso; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6 ^th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday January 7 ^th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Delgado Cemetery.
