Genoveva M. Guerra went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the age of 95 years. She was involved in the United Methodist Women's Society, where she received the Bishops Award for her service.  Genoveva was preceded in death by her husband Ramon S. Guerra; son Ramon M. Guerra Jr., daughter Herminia Guerra, son Arthur James Guerra, and Andrew Guerra; grandchildren Yvonne Guerra, Thelma Jean Watson; great-grandchildren Maritza Macias; great-great-grandchild Gregory Delgado.  She is survived by her children Patricia Macias (Henry), Edna Guerra; daughter-in-law Yolanda Guerra; grandchildren Yesena Rangel (Jesus), Marivel Valdez (Armando), Ramon Guerra III (Kimberley), Marcus Guerra, Henry Macias Jr. (Rosalinda), Jeni Macias; Great-Grandchildren Gianna, Lizzet, Gabriela, Dariela, Alexandro, Fidel, Abram, Emilio, Alexis, Julian, Skylar, Ashley, Summer; Great-Great-Grandchildren Gunnar, Graham, Philip, Ella; Brother Pedro Mendoza. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will held at Oak Island United Methodist Church 3030 De Vilbliss Ln, San Antonio, Texas 78264 at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 with Interment to follow at Oak Island Cemetery.
