Geneva M. Davis went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the age of 94 years.  She was born in Gonzales County, Texas on December 22, 1923 to Preston Calvert and Allie Maude Worthey. She was very active with the South San Baptist Church (Now known as the Life Church), She enjoyed working with the children's ministry. Also worked as a faithful store clerk for Winns for over twenty years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen L. Davis; granddaughter, Erica N. Cason; and six siblings.  Geneva is survived by her daughters, Kathryn N. Fudge and Husband (A.D.), Grace Simpson; grandchildren, Debra Gregory husband (Jon), Denise Sklar, David K. Dodson wife (Anna), Danna Murrile husband (Greg), Del Dodson;Twelve great grandchildren;Three Great-Great granddaughter; Brother, Henry Acie Worthey; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., ends with a service at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Services will follow in Nixon Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
