Frank S. Davila was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the age of 90 years.  He was born on September 10, 1928 in Bridgeport, Texas to Ambrocio and Augustina Davila.  Frank was a musician at heart who loved playing the guitar.  He lead a Mariachi group and often had a trio and a duet.  Frank was a fantastic storyteller.  He is survived by his children, Leticia Chavez and her husband Daniel, Jose Luis Y. Davila and his wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Vince, Desiree, Jasmine, Noemi, Liliana, Mason, and Benjamin; great granddaughter, Giselle; also numerous nieces, nephew, and other family members.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with services to be held at 7:00 p.m.  Services for Mr. Davila will conclude on Saturday evening.
