Obituary

Floyd "Rusty" Henley passed into the sweet hereafter on Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 2, 1947 to Lena Mae and Walter Earl Henley. Rusty graduated from Harlandale High School then went on to attend International Bible College and earn his Bachelor's Degree in Theology. He was a pastor for fifty-five years and he loved his ministry. He was a lifetime lover of music and even recorded four Gospel music albums in Nashville, Tennessee. He worked as a pilot for over twenty years and during his life he traveled all over the world. He will be missed terribly by his travel partner and life partner, his darling wife Linda Reno-Henley. His spirit lives on in his beloved children Jerry Henley (Autumn) and Annette Bledsoe Cagle (Wade). His stories echo in the minds of his treasured grandchildren Jerry Henley Jr., Analise Henley, Tyler Bledsoe, Tanner Bledsoe, Tristan Bledsoe, Trenton Cagle, Bethany Cagle, and Tyler Cagle. Rusty loved his animals like they were part of the family and surely they will also miss his presence. They family pets are Cissy, Charley, Ms. Kitty, and Ellie. He also left behind numerous other family members and dear friends. Truly his was a life well lived.

Preceding him in death are his siblings Roger Dale Henley, Shirley Jean, and Ronald Dean.
