Evenhardt Solis Sanchez entered into Heaven on Friday, May 3, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas with his loving family by his side. He was 85 years old. Evenhardt was born to Manuela Solis and Cruz Sanchez on February 15, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas. He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, loving wife Janie, sister Matilde Garza, nephew Edward Sanchez and great nephew Pedro Gonzales. He is survived by his niece Juanita Oralia Zieglar (Frank), nephew Roberto Garza, niece Patricia Joanne Lopez, great nephew John Garza and great niece Brenda Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 5pm-9pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm. A procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 9:15am for Mass at El Carmen Catholic Church at 10am. Interment to follow at El Carmen Cemetery with Army Funeral Honors to be conducted. The family would like to express Mr. Sanchez's wishes for no floral arrangements present for his funeral services, and have suggested live plants in lieu of flowers.
