We announce with heavy hearts, Eulogio Eloy De La Cruz, has gone into his eternal rest on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 71 years old. Eulogio was born on December 27, 1953, to his parents, Eligio and Antonia De La Cruz, in San Antonio, Texas. He loved to travel. He was a fantastic host, and enjoyed hosting Holiday parties. He was a great mentor and tutor for all of his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Martha Garcia, Ernestina De La Cruz, and Janie Garcia; brothers: Andreas De la Cruz, and Natividad De la Cruz. He is survived by his 2 brothers Eligio De la Cruz, and Remijio De la Cruz, 2 sisters Antonette Gibbons, and Jesusita Belman, beloved nieces that cared for him Maria D. Garcia, and Ernestine Evans, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.  Tuesday, September 23, 2025, we will depart at 9:00 a.m. for a funeral mass at 9:30 a.m., held at Mission San Jose Catholic Church with interment to follow to First Memorial Cemetery.
