Ethel Marion Ludwig went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the age of 87 years. She retired as a school nurse from Southwest High School. Marion enjoyed, traveling, gambling, sewing, cross stitching and playing Dominoes and Bunco with her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Ludwig; parents, Ole and Eva Olson; and brother, Harold Olson. Marion is survived by her sons, David Fields and Albert M. Ludwig and wife Jay; brother, George A. Olson and wife Pat; grandsons, Robert Lynn Johnson and wife Rachel, Cory K. Johnson and wife Shannon, and Lee Ludwig; great grandsons, Clayton Harrington, Colton and Keifer Gunn, C.J. and Payton Ludwig; also several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Friday, December 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Saturday, December 14th at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park..
