Esther G. Moreno entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the age of 79 years. Esther volunteered for the Breast Cancer Society, Part of the welcome Wagon at the Baptist Medical Center. She was a nurse by proffesion she practiced in Hospital and Home Health Care Nursing. She was born on April 28, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Juan Garcia and Clemencia De la Luz Guerrero. Esther was preceded in death by her Husband Elidio C. Moreno; Daughter Diana Moreno. She is survived by her Children Lucinda Carrizales (Jose Juan), Janie Turner ( Terry Alan), David G. Moreno (Guadalupe); Grandchildren Eric Joseph Hinojosa, Caitlin Carrizales, Christian Jose Carrizales, William Turner, Valerie Turner, Christopher Turner, Jacob Vernon Turner, Joshua Gerard Moreno, David Nathan Moreno, Elijah Patrick Moreno; Nine Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Southside Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
