Esperanza Mata Freeman entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the age of 73 years. She was preceded in death by her Husband Raul G. Freeman. She loved cooking and gardening. She enjoyed painting and ceramics when she was younger, and she enjoyed watching her Novelas everyday. Esperanza is survived by her Children Robert A. Freeman, Deborah Freeman (J.J.), Michael Freeman (Deborah); Grandchildren Cody (Stevie), Raven, Lola, Anara, Lucian, Niko; Great-Great-Grandchildren Mason, Mila; Siblings Minerva, Raymond, Danny, Letty, Hermelinda, Felix, Roland. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will conclude that evening.
