Ernestine Taylor's Obituary
Ernestine B. Taylor went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the age of 98 years. She was a member of the Mission San Jose Altar Society and the Sons of Hermann, Louise Schultze Lodge. Ernestine was a devoted mother and homemaker, who loved gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie and son Paul Taylor. Ernestine is survived by her children, George (Karen) Taylor, Phillip Taylor, Margaret Mary "DeeDee" Taylor; brother, Frank Boehly; grandchildren, Heide (Todd) Strzelczyk, Christopher (Valerie) Taylor, Nicholas (Brenda) Taylor, Cari Taylor; seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home Thursday, April 13th at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Mission San Jose. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Special Olympics of Texas.
