Enriqueta M. Valdez went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the age of 86. She is survived by her children, Orvilia Perez,Jorge L. Valdez (Linda),Luz Valdez (Jesus),Claudia Fuentes (Juan),Rosario Castillo (Jose Antonio),Maribel San Miguel (Rodolfo),Moises Valdez (Luz Alma),Blanca Cervantes (David),Ricardo Valdez (Lilia),Alejandra Garza (Santos);sister, Teresa Martinez;thirty two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Enriqueta is preceded in death by her parents,Lucas & Otila Martinez;husband,Moises Y. Valdez;four Children;siblings,Cipriana Martinez - Munoz,Carmela Martinez-Ramos,Rosa Martha Martinez-Vargas,Lucas Martinez,Jose Martinez, and Pedro Martinez; granddaughter, Crystal Cervantes;great grandson, Abraham Isaiah Valdez. A visitation will begin on Thursday, December 18th at 3:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home on Friday, December 19th at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church followed by burial at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
