Obituary

Enedina Suarez went home to Jesus peacefully with loved ones by her side on February 27, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born to Rosalina Alaniz & Ramon Alaniz on June 26,1933 in Jefferson County, Texas. She married Cecilio Suarez in Robstown,Texas on March 26, 1950. Together they raised a family while providing them with a strong foundation of love and faith for over 50 years.

Ene is preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecilio Suarez, her son German Suarez and her grandson, Carlos Suarez. She is survived by her children Brenda Guajardo(Manuel), Rene Suarez(Virginia), Raymond Suarez(Nancy)  and Belynda Suarez, her sister Elida Gonzales, brother, Rey Alaniz, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Ene was a devout Christian who practiced what she preached. Having earned her mansion in heaven she has passed into the arms of our Lord. She was an example of a woman driven by purpose and faith in God. She loved to entertain, congregate, celebrate, and support others. She would always challenge those around her to be the best version of themselves. Though she had a tough exterior, her heart was pure. A heart of a loyal servant that shared God's love with others and her passionate spirit will always be remembered by those who knew her.

"Well done, my good and faithful servant...Enter into the joy of your lord." (Matthew 25:23)

Her family will miss her big presence in their lives but rejoices knowing she is in peace and resting as the good and faithful servant she was.

She finished well. She lived a life of grace. Every person that knew her life was witness to the transformative power of Jesus Christ in her. She lived a servant's life and modeled a servant's heart. And for us, she was the closest example of Christ's unconditional love for us all.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7)
