Elisa S. Carreno, 85, passed away on October 13, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas.

Elisa was born in San Antonio, Texas to Rafael and Virginia Salinas on December 16, 1931.

Elisa is preceded in death by her Parents Rafael and Virginia Salinas, Husband Frank Carreno, Son Rudy Davila, Jr., Daughter Terry Davila, Brother Adolph Salinas (Angie) and Sisters Anita Silvers (Jim), Linda Torres (Ruben).

Elisa is survived by her Children Rose Mary Davila and Aurora Rodriguez (Richard), Brothers Rafael Salinas (Terry) and Manuel Salinas (Maria) and Esteban Hermosillo (Fay) and Sister Maria "Sara" Solis (Sonny), 2 Grandchildren Richard A. Gutierrez (Rachel) and Eric C. Gutierrez, 6 Great-grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday October 18, 2017 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 South Flores Street, San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Southside Funeral Home. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home immediately after the service. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Arrangements are entrusted to Southside Funeral Home.
