Obituary

Elida Perez Lozano, went into eternal rest to be with our Lord on August 4, 2025 at the age of 84.

Born May 13, 1941 in San Antonio, TX, Elida "Ellie" lived a fulfilling life. As a  proud daughter of Antonio and Caroline Perez, she remained a force to be reckon with being the 8th child out of 10 children. Being a lady of many talents, with raising  four boys while maintaining a career, she persevered and worked hard to create a life for her family. Throughout her years she remained a vivacious woman who loved to go out dancing and enjoyed all of the country and Tejano hits. Known for her iconic beehive hairstyles,  unique voice and bold makeup looks she always knew how to liven up a room  and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially when it came to  impromptu trips to the coast or family gatherings. "Also known for her illustrious Easter baskets, infamous coin bag, and hall of fame potato salad, time at grandma's house was always blast." With reminiscing about the good ole days Ellie never lost sight of the love she shared with others and always kept true to who she was no matter what. She will be forever loved and missed.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Carlos Casas Sr., Raul Lozano Sr. and two sons Aurelio "Eric" Casas and Richard "Ricky" Casas, who she now joins in eternal rest.
