Elena E. Perez went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the age of 92 years. She was a member of the Altar Society at St. Leonard's Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary council #2040 and #7808. She was also very active with the food bank's at both St Leonard's and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church's. Elena was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Perez Sr., her parents and siblings. She is survived by her children, Rosario Polanco and husband Daniel, Oscar Perez and wife Arcelia, Armando Perez and wife Lupita, Elena Garcia and husband Ruben and Teresa Kazak and husband William. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 28th from 6:00 pm. To 9:00 p.m with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29th for a 10:00 a.m. mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
