Efraim Carrion Zavala, entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the age of 89 years.  He was a very giving person and was a Missionary in Mexico.  Efraim was a volunteer Police Officer in San Antonio.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Elijah.  Efraim is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elida "Lile" Zavala; children, Belma Santiago and her husband Raymond, Chriselda Gonzalez and her husband Cruz, Efraim Zavala Jr., Isaac Zavala; grandchildren, Gilbert, Samuel, Christina, Alicia, Michael, Gabe, Jasmine, Josiah; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Raymundo "David" Zavala and his wife Carmen.

Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Monday, September 28th from2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Services to be held at 4:00 p.m.  Services will conclude at the funeral home.
