Edward C. Garza entered into Heaven on September 4, 2016 at the age of 72 in San Antonio, Texas. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Margarita Garza and his siblings Johnny and Lily. He was survived by his beloved wife Elva M. Garza, with whom he celebrated 43 years of marriage with. He is also survived by his sons Joe and Anthony Garza, and daughters Lisa Felan and Tina Sanchez; Brothers Frank Garza and his wife Mary, Jesse Garza and his wife Margarita, Arturo Garza and his wife Elena and Raul Garza; Sisters Yolanda Martinez and her husband Paul, Gloria Valdez and her husband Leo, Sulema Mosqueda and her husband Juan and Amelia Casillas; Grandchildren Lauren G, Gabriella, Scarlet, Justin, Amanda, Jennifer, David, Lauren S. and Marvin; Great grandchildren Alexis, William and Khloe as well as many nieces and nephews. Edward will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 9th for Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in El Carmen Catholic Cemetery.
