Edith M. Donato entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the age of 49 years. Thought of others before herself, she knew her dad was a fan of Vicente Fernandez and designed a special cup of Vicente Fernandez for him. Edith was the driver of one of the vans on the trip to Dover-Foxcroft, Maine she found a can of B&M Brown Bread that her dad always talked about in Bar Harbor, Maine. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Donato; Edith is survived by her Children Stephanie M. Donato (Bryan), Raymond D. Donato; Parents Eliseo and Adela Mendoza; Sister Patricia M. Reyes (Rene); Nieces Francine R. Ruiz (Vincent), Kimberly Reyes; Nephews Randy R. Reyes (Claudia), Eric Donato, Liam Ruiz; Mother-in-law Janie Donato (Tony), Brother-in-law Eric Donato (Krystal). Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart Southside Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
