Dolores Vasquez Maldonado entered eternal rest on January 13, 2021, at the age of 74 years old. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 10, 1946. Dolores was a dedicated wife and mother, for 54 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and traveling. More so, in her younger days. Dolores was born into a very spiritual Catholic Family, and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Choir, for many years. Dolores was predeceased by her loving husband; Raul Maldonado Sr., Parents; Fred and Mary Vasquez, and her brother; Fred Vasquez Jr. Dolores is survived by her children; David Maldonado, Nancy Vazquez (Luis), Raul Maldonado Jr., and Steven Maldonado. Granddaughters; Gabrielle and Julianna Maldonado. She is also survived by her six sisters, one brother, and numerous extended family members. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 19 ^th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Southside Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
