David C. Villarreal entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the age of 51 years.  He was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 6, 1970 to Hector and Mary Helen Villarreal.  David is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Isidro Villarreal.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Ruth Villarreal; daughter, Amber Martinez Garcia; sisters, Annette LaGrange, Leticia Pena (David), Mary Helen Vasquez; brothers, Jesus Hector Villarreal (Dora), Robert Lee Villarreal; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, January 26th for a 10:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Wildflower Cemetery.
