David Soliz entered into his eternal rest on May 11, 2024, in Adkins, Texas at the age of 81 years.  He was born to parents David A. Soliz and Rafaela Canales on May 29, 1942, in Gonzalez, Texas.  David enjoyed playing pool, a good game of dominos, and having family gatherings at his home.

David is survived by his: wife Teresa S. Soliz, 41years. Children: Teresita Alvarado (Ceasar), Billy Paul Soliz (Desiree). Siblings: Rafaela Kee, Sarah Soliz, Jose Soliz (Juanita), Josie Contreras (Lupe). Grandchildren: James Lee Anaya Jr., Desiree Anaya, Joshua Ortega, Sabrina Ortega, along with six great-granchildren. Cousins: Abel Trevino, Manuel Arcos and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, Eugene Soliz; parents: David and Rafaela Soliz; sister: Rebecca C. Soliz; and brothers: Eugene Soliz and Ruben C. Soliz.

A viewing and visitation will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Southside Funeral Home chapel from 5:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 6:00p.m.

Services held the following day on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Southside Funeral Home chapel starting at 11:30a.m.

Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:30p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024.
