David Escobedo Jr. went into the light on Sunday, March 3, 2024. He was born August 8, 1965 to loving parents Olivia Ramirez Escobedo and David Escobedo Sr. in Tucson, Arizona. David loved playing the accordion and the bajo sexto. His music was his way of expressing himself and bringing joy to the world. He was a generous animal lover and cared for puppies which he rescued and treated like family.

He shared his big heart with his darling wife Marielena Tovar Escobedo, whom he cherished for thirty years. He is also survived by is dear mother Olivia Escobedo. He will be remembered fondly by his sweet sisters Mary Helen Mesa (Joe), Dianne McCutchen (Thomas), Rosie Noyola (Rolando), Linda Escobedo, Marlene Rodriguez (Ramon), and Elissa Rodriguez (Valentin). He will be missed every day by his closest cousin Meliza R. Wood (Frank).His face will visit the dreams of his numerous nieces and nephews. He was cherished by so much family coming from Tucson, Arizona, Florida, and various other places.

David is preceded in death by his proud father David P. Escobedo Sr. and his wonderful grandparents Trinidad G. Ramirez and David Ramirez Sr as well as his paternal grandparents Francisco Escobedo and Maria P. Escobedo.
