Daniel Torres went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Sr. and Guadalupe Torres. Daughter,  Mary Elizabeth Soto; First wife,  Oralia V. Torres. Second wife, Veronica Ann. Daniel is survived by his wife Cecilia Torres; children Daniel Torres Jr. (Brenda), Nicholas Torres (James Speer), David Torres (Arlene Morales), Karen E. Martinez (Sam), Vivian Torres; sisters Delia Torres Gonzales (Eliseo), Angelita Villarreal; brothers Tomas Villarreal (Susie), Robert Villarreal. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Clara, Sue and Adam Pena for the care given to Daniel also to Kindred Hospice. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will depart at10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 for a 11:00 a.m. graveside. Interment will immediately follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to the funeral home to cover expenses.
